I close my eyes to look around
And reach up high to feel the ground
In this odd world that I have found;
A place where I'm not safe and sound.

A strange new land of misbelief
That cast itself into the reef
Where here I once found my relief
From human nature, human grief.

This twisted place helped me defy,
It helped me hide, it helped me lie
And yet I question, "Why would I
Let everyone just pass me by?"

Grab a paddle and help me row.
However, I can't say I know
Which way we possibly will go
Since we depend on lava's flow.

And here glaciers melt volcanoes
And bridges all tie into bows.
When you get thrilled, forget your toes.
It's better to stand on your nose.

Like on the moon, you fly through space.
So drop your oars, let's have a race.
Then lava cedes, we're face to face.
But let me warn you, watch your pace.

The milky way is sometimes cruel
And easily it's sight can fool.
Have caution on the track I rule.
For now you face life's cruelest duel.

Below's infinity, I'll warn.
If you fall off, your life is torn.
There's no "reset" to be reborn.
Who knew that stars could cause forlorn?

So honestly, I best advise
You give up dreams, open your eyes.
Face what you love, what you despise
And to fake worlds, say your goodbyes.
