Just a few things...

Thu Jul 30, 2009, 3:29 PM

Alright. So I'm posting for a few reasons... (If you don't want to read the venting stuff, just skip to number 2.)

1. I need to vent.

Ok so the day before yesterday my friend Rickie got tickets for us to go see this rated r movie. First we were gonna see the ugly truth, but that was sold out, so she got tickets for Orphan which is also r.

We got to the part in the theatre where they rip the tickets, right?
First, the girl that rips the tickets didn't even ask me for my ID and almost let me through but she asked rickie, so I fessed up that I was under 17.

So we had to go back... then we snuck over like that little fence/rope thingie, ripped our own tickets [[which is really really bad if you get caught]] then we get to the room that was playing it, BUT THEN THERE WERE PEOPLE THERE WHO ASKED FOR OUR ID'S AT THE DOORS. WTF. So then we were screwed because they could've found out that we ripped the tickets ourselves and snuck past the other girl. Luckily we covered up and said "oh her mom just dropped us off here though." Then they wouldn't let us in unless one of our parents sat there with us and held our f'n hands. BS. So she wanted to sneak into another movie since a paid-for ticket's a paid-for ticket, BUT THOSE PEOPLE WERE WATCHING US. And we had already bought the damn popcorn!!!! so we decided to just go home and watch something scary at her place instead. That was the most suspense I've had all summer.

Since when did they ask for ID's???

I also found out while I was hanging out with Rickie that there apparantly was a couple of summer assignments for the AP Chemistry course. Wtf?? So I had to get the book from school and the assignment. However, the chapters and content that the assignment paper says to outline don't match up with what's in the textbook. Great. What the hell? I don't know. So I started doing the review problems, and the first 4 pages of the assignment were all naming/writing the ionic compounds. I SUCK AT THAT CRAP. LIKE I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PHOSPHATE AND PHOSPHIDE AND THAT STUFF. Only three of the pages had things that actually required remembering formulas and calculating. Why is it that the stuff that's supposed to be easy (such as writing the whole names of the ionic compounds)is hard for me but the stuff that's supposed to be harder (such as percent composition) is so much easier???

2. Rickie also showed me the first Shane Dawson video I've ever seen! I'm hooked now! He's absolutely hilarious
